The Struggle: Figuring It Out on My Own
I was 13 years old when I first picked up an acrylic brush. I didn’t have a mentor, a roadmap, or high-quality products—I just had a passion for nails and a deep desire to get better. But passion alone didn’t make it easy.
I remember spending hours watching YouTube tutorials, hoping I’d finally figure out how to lay acrylic smoothly. Instead, I ended up with lifting nails, thick applications, and frustrated clients (even if they were just my family and friends at the time).
Finding the right products was a whole struggle in itself. I wasted so much money on acrylics that dried too fast, monomers that smelled too strong, and brushes that made application even harder. And don’t even get me started on feeling lost in an industry that seemed so intimidating.
As I scrolled through social media, I saw professional nail techs creating flawless sets, and I couldn’t help but compare my work. I wondered if I’d ever get there.
But something in me refused to give up.
The Breakthrough: Turning My Passion into a Six-Figure Business
Despite all the setbacks, I kept pushing forward. I practiced every single day, testing different techniques, learning from my mistakes, and figuring out what worked. Little by little, I improved. My sets got cleaner, my retention got better, and people started noticing my work.
Soon, my nail table was no longer just a hobby—it became a business.
Word-of-mouth spread, and before I knew it, my clientele grew to over 1,200+ clients. I learned how to market myself, book consistently, and raise my prices—things that no one taught me when I started. Eventually, I scaled my nail business to six figures, proving that you don’t have to be perfect to start—you just have to start.
As I built my career, I also had the opportunity to teach over 50 people, helping them avoid the mistakes I made and grow their own skills. That’s when I realized something—I wasn’t the only one who struggled as a beginner.
There were so many aspiring nail techs just like me—passionate, talented, and eager to learn, but feeling lost, discouraged, and stuck. And that’s when the vision for Veah’s Haus was born.
The Mission: Why I Created Veah’s Haus
I built Veah’s Haus because I know what it’s like to be a beginner struggling to find products and education that actually work.
I remember how frustrating it was to waste money on supplies that weren’t beginner-friendly, to feel alone in my journey, and to question if I was good enough. I never want another nail tech to feel that way.
So, I created Veah’s Haus to be more than just a nail brand—it’s a movement.
